Building on GENDERACTION and GENDERACTIONplus, the project combines peer learning, capability building, practical tools and policy monitoring, with particular attention to intersectionality.
Yellow Window leads the project’s co-design, co-creation and capability-building work.

From policy commitments to implementation
Inclusive gender equality is an established priority in the European Research Area, but implementation varies across national and organisational contexts. GENDERACTIONplus2027 brings together national authorities, research funding organisations and other ERA stakeholders to exchange experience, strengthen capabilities and develop practical support for policy implementation.
Yellow Window leads the Work Package – Co-design, Co-creation and Capability Building.
The work draws on needs and experience from the Community of Practice, the ERA Forum Sub-group on Inclusive Gender Equality and other relevant stakeholders.
It includes:
INTERSECTIONALITY
Development of practical guidance and recommended indicators to support the integration of intersectionality into research and innovation policy.
GENDER MAINSTREAMING
Development of support materials for integrating gender perspectives into selected ERA priorities and actions.
CAPABILITY BUILDING
Learning activities designed around concrete needs and implementation challenges identified by national authorities and research funding organisations.
PRACTICAL TOOLS
Development of project tools and resources, brought together through an online toolkit for policy actors.
CONNECTING POLICY LEARNING AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT
GENDERACTIONplus2027 follows a needs driven approach. Experience from policy practice informs capability building and tool development, while monitoring and project learning feed back into policy discussions.
Yellow Window’s role connects co-creation, capability building and practical resource development, helping translate policy needs into support that can be used across different research and innovation contexts.
